James D. Sidney Dodson, 86, died suddenly at his residence at Efland, Route 2, 
about 8:30 this morning. He was a native of Orange County.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Chestnut Ridge Methodist Church at 
3 o'clock Friday by the Rev. C. P. Morris, pastor. Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
Surviving are fours sons, Walter of Washington, D.C., Wade C. of Alhambra, 
Calif., Harry B. of Arlington, Va., and J.R. of Greensboro; two daughters, 
Mrs. Lillie Mae of the home, and Mrs. W. H. Holliday of Washington, D.C. 
Eighteen grandchildren and two-great-grand-children also survive.
