Sydney Maria Harvel of Chapel Hill, died Saturday night in an auto accident. 
She was 16.
Funeral held Monday at the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church by Rev. Loren 
B. Mead.
Graveside services and burial Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church cemetery 
in Wilkesboro.
A member of the junior class at Chapel Hill High School.
Survivors include -
Mother: Mrs. Rose Wade Scroggs Harvel of the home
Two sisters: Lynne and Anna Jerome Harvel of the home
One brother: Paul Wilson Harvel III of the home
Maternal Grandmother: Mrs. Allgood Scroggs of Chapel Hill
Maternal Grandfather: R.E. Scroggs of Raleigh
Paternal Grandmother: Mrs. P.W. Harvel of North Wilkesboro
