Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Harward of Hillsborough, died Saturday in a Chapel Hill 
hospital.
She was 90.
Survivors -
Four daughters: Mrs. Betty Womble, Mrs. Aline Riley, Mrs. Lillian Allen and 
Mrs. Stella Haithcock of Hillsborough
Four sons: Jim Harward of Hillsborough, Clyde Harward of Auburn, Ga, Paul 
Harward of Saxapahaw, Curtis Burner of Mt. Airy
Two sisters: Mrs. Mollie Southern of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Fannie Davis of 
Durham
A brother: Alec Teague of Durham
63 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
Funeral held Monday at Pilgrim Holiness Church by Rev. W.D. Richardson and 
Rev. George Harper.
Burial in Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Homer Riley, Doc Andrews, Homer Phillips, Jimmy Hamlet, Jesse 
Mann and Richard Bateman
