Mrs. Ella Cornett Hooker of Hillsborough, died July 9 at North Carolina 
Memorial Hospital. She was 80.
Survivors include -
Widower: Robert Ruffin Hooker
Three daughters: Mrs. George Stumpf of Rhinelander, Wis, Mrs. M.M. Rose of 
Gastonia and Mrs. L.L. Francisco of Van Nuys, Ca
Three sons: George Hooker of Hillsborough, Martin O. Hooker of Charleston, W. 
Va and C.W. Hooker of Chapel Hill
9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
Funeral held last Thursday at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Vance Barron
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery in Durham
