The News of Orange County, January 11, 1973
Wilson G. Jeffreys of Mebane, died January 7 at Duke Hospital after several 
years of declining health and a day of critical illness.
He was 80.
Tabacconist and native of Caswell County.
Member of Mebane Presbyterian Church, Bingham Lodge 272 and American Legion 
Post 95.
Funeral conducted January 9 at Mebane Presbyterian Church by Rev. Allen 
McSween.
Buried in Cedar Grove at Eno Presbyterian Church cemetery.
Survivors:
Widow: Mrs. Mary Pope Jeffreys
Two sons: Wilson G. Jeffreys, Jr and Irvin Jeffreys, both of Mebane
Three sisters: Mrs. Virginia Patton and Miss Claudia Jeffreys of Mebane and 
Mrs. Agenes Lancaster of Burlington
One brother: Lawrence Jeffreys of Mebane
Three grandchildren
