Charlie Edwin Jordan of Burlington, died at his home Sunday. He was 85.
A former merchant and farmer of the Cedar Grove community near Hillsborough.
Funeral held Tuesday at Cedar Grove Methodist Church by Rev. C.O. Wiggins and 
Dr. Kenneth Register with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include -
One son: Richard A. Jordan of Detroit, Mich.
Three daughters: Mrs. Ethel J. Cole of the home, Mrs. G.H. Thompson and Mrs. 
William N. Bane Sr of Burlington
One sister: Mrs. H.H. Rudd of Midlothian, Va
7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren
