The News of Orange County, November 30, 1972
Mrs. Vannie C. Kenion of Hillsborough, died Wednesday, November 22.
She died in a Raleigh hospital.
She was 74.
Funeral held Saturday, November 25 at Mt. Zion AME Church in Hillsborough, by 
Rev. J.R. Bridges
Burial in church cemetery
Survivors:
Four daughters: Mrs. Cora Clark of the home, Mrs. Ida Clayton of Durham, Mrs. 
Jennie E. Tinnin of Chapel and Miss Dorothy Kenion of Brooklyn, NY
Four sons: Charles Kenion, Victor Kenion and John Kenion, all of the home and 
Bobby Kenion of Hillsborough
43 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
