Joseph G. Mason of Chapel Hill, died Saturday. He was 73.
Funeral held Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Chatham County, by Rev. 
J.R. Burt, with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include -
Widow: Mrs. Lucy Page Mason
One daughter: Mrs. Lora Farrow of Chapel Hill
One son: John Eric Mason of French Lake, Ind.
One sister: Mrs. Sara Council of Chapel Hill
5 grandchildren
