James Edgar (Jim) McKee of Durham, died Sunday in Watts Hospital. He was 73.
Funeral held Tuesday at Hudson Funeral Chapel by Rev. Leon Addleton, pastor of 
Cheek Heights Baptist Church.
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
A native of Orange County, but a resident of Durham most of his life.
Son of the late William Henry and Cornelia Harris McKee.
An employee of Liggett and Myers Tobacco Co. before retiring
He first married Ida Lucas, now deceased, then married Nancy Yearwood.
A member of Cheek Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include -
Wife: Nancy Yearwood McKee
Two sons: Claiborne James McKee and Lawrence Carl McKee of Durham
Four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren
Four sisters: Mrs. Pearl Travis, Mrs. Luna Hilkerson, Mrs. Corene Rimmer and 
Mrs. Estelle Franklin of Durham
Three brothers: Luther McKee, Henry McKee and Colon McKee of Durham
