The News of Orange County, September 18, 1969
William Edward Miller died at a Durham hospital on September 14. He was 79 and 
lived in the Schley community.
Member of Eagle Lodge No. 19 AF&AM and the Schley Grange.
Survivors include -
Widow: Mrs. Annie Garrett Miller
Daughter: Mrs. Mary McBroom of Rougemont
Four sons: James Hamilton Miller and Guy Garrett Miller of Durham, William 
David "Bill" Miller of Hillsborough and Bonny Joe Miller of the home
Sister: Mrs. Zelma Maulden of Hillsborough
Two brothers: Garland and Charlie Miller of Hillsborough
Funeral held September 16 at Little River Presbyterian Church by Rev. Lewis 
Weeks and Rev. Leon Hall.
Burial was in the church cemetery with masonic rites.
