The News of Orange County, February 8, 1945
W. M. Moore, 66, was killed instantly, when a limb from a falling tree struck 
him against his chest on January 31, at his home, in Caswell County.
He had been chopping wood.
Services and burial were held at Cedar Grove Methodist Church, by Rev. Mr. 
Duval and Rev. S. F. Nicks.
Pallbearers: L. A. M. Kimbrough; Cleaton Roberts; Clayton Murphey; Massey 
Riggs; Morris Talley and Arthur Warren
Survivors:
Son: Dr. H. W. Moore of Hillsboro (Dentist)
Wife: Mrs. Jinnie Regan Moore
Half Brother: Herman Ashley Moore, who formerly lived in Orange County
