The News of Orange County, Hillsboro, N.C., Thursday, December 28, 1944
Columbus "Peter" Parrish was found dead December 19 about one quarter mile of 
his home in West Hillsboro.
He died of an apparent heart attack.
Dr. B. N. Roberts was acting coroner.
Survivors:
Wife: Mrs. Minnie Parrish
One daughter: Mrs. Lila James of Efland
One son: Ed Parrish of West Hillsboro
One sister: Mrs. Anna Parrott of Oxford
Rev. S.F. Nicks conducted the funeral at 4:30 at the West Hillsboro Methodist 
church.
Burial in New Sharon Church cemetery
