Isidore Rancer of Chapel Hill, died Monday in North Carolina Memorial Hospital 
at the age of 80.
A native of Romania. He moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1906, then to Durham in 1938.
He was educated in New York schools.
He lived with his son Sid in Chapel Hill.
Survivors include -
Three sons: Sid Rancer, Herbert Rancer of Greensboro and Murray Rancer of New 
Mexico
9 grandchildren
Funeral held Tuesday at Howerton-Bryan Funeral Chapel in Durham by Rabbi M. 
Herbert Berger of Beth El Synagogue, with burial in Durham Hebrew Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Durham Chevre Kadishe members
