William Ervin Rasberry of Durham, died August 5, at his home. He was 71.
Funeral held August 6 at Clements Funeral Chapel.
Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Officiating: Rev. Lawrence Bridges, pastor of Carr UMC and Rev. Bennett 
Shelton, pastor of West Durham Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Born in Cumberland County
Son of the late Warren A and Alice Hales Rasberry
Resident of Durham since early childhood
Member of Carr UMC and employed by Durham Hotel
Survivors include -
Two sons: William E. Rasberry Jr and Donald Ray Rasberry of Durham
Four stepsons: Wayne L. Davis of Zebulon, Carl L. Davis of Orange County, G. 
Henry Davis of Butner and Donald F. Davis of Durham
Four sisters: Mrs. Annie White, Mrs. Rosa Talley, Mrs. Maggie Oates of Durham 
and Mrs. Mabel Fore of Baltimore, MD
Four brothers: Alex Rasberry, Arch Rasberry, Robert Rasberry and Reuben 
Rasberry of Durham
Eleven grandchildren
