Mrs. Ella Suggs Ray, died after an illness of two months. She was 71.
Died at the home of her son, R.A. Suggs in Durham.
Survivors:
Sons: R.A. Suggs of Durham and Frank Suggs of Chicago, Illinois
Two daughters: Mrs. Helen George of Mobile, Alabama and Mrs. J.W. Bolton of 
Carolina Beach
Four sisters: Mrs. B.F. Dameron of Hillsboro; Mrs. Archie Davis of Hillsboro; 
Mrs. W.E. Oakley of Hillsboro and Mrs. May Ashbrooks of Richmond, Virginia
Two brothers: John and Henry Smith of Efland
Funeral services and interment at Mars Hills Baptist Church, by Rev. W.T. Smith
