Wife: Mrs. Lula Carden Rice
Three daughters: Mrs. Ernest Spoon, Mrs. Henry Riley and Mrs. Claude McAdams 
all of Hillsboro
Two Sons: T. E. Rice of Hillsboro; L. M. Rice of Durham
24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren
Two Brothers: Joseph R and Leroy of Mebane
