Mrs. George H. Squires, died at her home in Efland. She was 54.
Died after a brief illness.
Survivors:
Husband
Three daughters: Mrs. Warren Holmes and Mrs. H.W. Sykes of Efland and Mrs. 
A.V. Neems of Hillsboro
Three sons: Nelson and Carl Edward of the home and York Squires with the army 
overseas
Five sisters: Mrs. J.F. Jones and Mrs. G.W. Holmes of Efland; Mrs. G.W. 
Dodson, Mrs. G.A. Dodson and Mrs. C.A. Williams all of Mebane
Two brothers: J.H. Howard and E.J. Howard of Efland
Funeral and burial at Chestnut Ridge Methodist Church
