William E. Stewart of Roxboro, died August 15 at Watts Hospital in Durham. He 
was 66.
A native of Orange County.
He owned and operated Stewart's Grocery in Roxboro until his retirement.
A member of Long Memorial Methodist Church.
Funeral held August 16 at the home by Rev. L.G. Elliot, Rev. Paul Browning and 
Rev. Herman Absher.
Burial in Burchwood Cemetery
Survivors include -
Widow: Mrs. Banna Day Stewart
One daughter: Mrs. Barbara S. White of South Boston, Va
Two grandchildren
