The News of Orange County, January 11, 1973
George Scott Stone of Hillsborough, died January 8 at Duke University Medical 
Center.
He had been in declining health for several months.
Retired employee of Burlington Industries in Durham.
Member of the Presbyterian Church.
He moved to Orange County after retirement.
Born and educated in Moore County.
Graveside services January 10 at Maplewood Cemetery were conducted by Rev. 
Ernest Ferrell.
Survivors:
One daughter: Mrs. R.F. Ferrell, Jr of Orange County
Two sons: Carl Stone and Bernard Stone, both of Durham
Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
