The News of Orange County, March 29, 1956
Funeral for William Jackson Taylor held yesterday at Orange Methodist Church, 
by Rev. C.D. Roettger and Rev. Charles E. Maddry.
Burial in the church cemetery.
He was 78 and a native of Orange County.
Survivors:
Four daughters: Mrs. R. L. Wolf of Lima, Ohio, Mrs. Mildred Richardson of 
Burlington, Mrs. L.E. Thomas of Pittsboro and Mrs. D.B. Williams of Spring Lake
One son: Junior R. Taylor of Pittsboro
One sister: Mrs. Bill Adams of New Bern
One brother: Olin Taylor of Carrboro
11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren
