The News of Orange County, September 17, 1959
Mrs. Minnie S. Thompson, of Efland died Monday morning. She was 71.
She died after several years of failing health and two weeks of critical 
illness.
Funeral held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Efland Methodist Church.
Burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors:
Three sons: Walter T. Thompson of the home, Allen R. Thompson of Efland and W. 
Lawrence Thompson of Durham
One sister: Mrs. Mattie Browing of Efland
A half brother: Fred Walker of Mebane
Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild
