He was 82 and a resident of the Schley community. A retired farmer and member of Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church. Survivors include - Widow: Mrs. Donnie Watkins Walker Five sons: Marvin of Rougemont, Frederick and Bill of Hillsborough, Allen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Ned Walker of Carrboro Two sisters: Mrs. Mary Lloyd and Mrs. Arthur Carden of Hillsborough Eight daughters: Mrs. W.C. Robertson, Mrs. Jim Gates and Mrs. Roy Carter of Graham, Mrs. Elwood Cramer of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Fred A. LaClair of Virginia and Mrs. T.W. Watson of Port Royal, SC, Mrs. ROnald Evans of Mebane and Mrs. James Ferrell of Hillsborough. 34 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren Funeral held Wednesday at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Caros Gardner and Rev. Lauton Pettit with burial in New Sharon Methodist Church cemetery. Pallbearers: Clyde and Dwight Walker, Floyd Miller, Willie Kiger, Thomas Laws and L.G.
