The News of Orange County, July 19, 1956
Thomas Eugene Walker, died Monday in a Durham hospital after an extended 
illness.
He was 71.
Son of Joseph and Margaret Riley Walker of Orange County
Funeral held yesterday afternoon at Mars Hill Baptist Church
Rev. Clyde P. Pearson, Rev. W.H. Westerfield and Rev. J.R. Green conducted 
services.
Burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors:
Two daughters: Mrs. Mildred Walker Roberts of Hillsboro and Mrs. Helen Walker 
Roberts of Elon College
Three brothers: H.J., C.M. and W.H. Walker of Hillsboro
One sister: Mrs. Mary Taylor of Hillsboro
Seven grandchildren
