Mrs. Harriet E. Walker, 96, died at the home of Mrs. Arthur Carden, her 
daughter, near Rougemont on Wednesday, March 8.
Wife of the late William R. Walker, she had been ill for three weeks.
Funeral held at New Sharon Methodist Church, by the Rev. S. F. Nicks and Rev. 
R. C. Masterson.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors:
Three daughters: Mrs. Arthur Carden, Mrs. Tom Walker of Rougemont and Mrs. A. 
T. Lloyd of Hillsboro
Four sons: N. H. Walker of Mebane, George Walker of Burlington, W. W. Walker 
of Hillsboro and A. H. Walker of Hillsboro
Pallbearers: Paul Walker, George Walker, Thomas Laws, Vernal Walker, Allen 
Lloyd and Clyde Walker
