Mrs. Donnie Watkins Walker, of the Schley community, died Sunday morning at 
home. She was 79.
Survivors include -
Five sons: Frederick, Ned and Bill Walker of Hillsborough, Marvin Walker of 
Rougemont, Allen Walker of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla
Six daughters: Mrs. A.C. Robertson, Mrs. Homerzella Gates and Mrs. Roy Carter 
of Graham, Mrs. Elwood Cramer of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Fred A. LaClair of 
Charlottesville, Va, Mrs. Ronald Evans of Mebane and Mrs. James Ferrell of 
Hillsborough.
Two sisters: Mrs. Effie Hersey of Hillsborough and Mrs. Grace Chandler of 
Durham
36 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren
Funeral held Wednesday at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Willis 
and Rev. William Kanoy.
Burial in New Sharon Methodist Church cemetery.
