The News of Orange County, Hillsboro, N.C., Thursday, December 28, 1944
Fleming W. Winn of Mebane, died following an illness of several years.
He resided in the Oaks section of Orange County, for the past 30 years.
Survivors:
One daughter: Miss Lily Winn of Mebane, teaching in the Charlotte city schools
One son: Fleming W. Winn, Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama
The body was sent to Savannah, Georgia.
He was connected to the Southern Cotton Oil Company for years.
Born January 11, 1861 in Walthourville, Georgia
Parents: Col. W. J. and Mary Eliza Fleming Winn
