The News of Orange County, September 17, 1959
Mrs. Samuel H. Woods of Hillsboro, died in a Durham hospital Monday morning 
after a critical illness of one week.
She was 67.
Funeral held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Little River Presbyterian 
Church.
Rev. Clark Porter and Rev. C.H. Reckard officiated.
Burial in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Survivors:
Husband: Samuel H. Woods of Hillsboro
Son: Hugh Woods of Raleigh
Two Daughters: Mrs. Aubrey Martin and Mrs. Mark Garris, both of Hillsboro
A grandchild
Three brothers: Luther and Loy Tilley of Hurdle Mills and Rev. Lester Tilley 
of Smithfield.
