Young one negro Girl by the name of Matilda to her and the heirs of her body forever 4th I give and bequeath to my grand son John B. McClanahan the sum of three hundred dollars to be made out of my property not otherwise disposed of 5th I give and bequeath to my son Richard Blacknall three Negroes (to wit) Willis, Harriet, and Julia and all my other property not otherwise disposed of above also all my Household & Kitchen furniture all bonds moneys on hand all accounts and every other species of property I possess of any description whatever to him and his heirs forever it is my will sd. Richard shall dispose of as much of sd. property as will pay the amount in 4th Item [page 2] 6th I do hereby appoint My beloved Son Richard Blacknall My executor to all intents & purposes to execute this My last will and testament according to the true intent & meaning of the same and every part & clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills & testaments by me heretofore made In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Blacknall do hereunto set My hand and seal this 5th day of January A D 1848 } Signed Sealed published } and declared by the said } Elizabeth Blacknall to be } her last will and testament } her in the presence of us who } Elizabeth (*) Blacknall (seal) at her request and in her presence } mark do subscribe our names as } witnesses thereto } WmSon Parish Jurat Jas A Russell H.
