Orange County           }
        Know all men by these presents that I
John Mitchell of the County & State aforesaid have
bargained sold and delivered and by these presents
do bargain sell and deliver unto James Comb of said
County & State, four Negroes &c Joseph, David, Cate
and Sarah, for the Sum of four hundred pounds
currency the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
I bind myself my Heirs Executors Administrator
and assigns to make such property good

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
this 30th day of November 1791

Mary Comb        }  NB the above Negroes are those that
                    formerly belonged to John Mitchel Senr.
