I John Crawford of the
County of Orange and State
of North Carolina being of
sound mind and memory do
make and declare this my
last Will and testament in
manner and form followi
-ing that is to say
First that my Executors
hereafter named shall prov
-ide for my body a decent
berial pay all funeral
Expense together with my
Just debts howsoever and
to whomsoever owing out
of the money that shall first
come to their hands as a
part of my estate
Item second
I give and devise to my

beloved wife Sarah
Crawford all and every
part of my estate both
Real and personal to have
and to hold to her the
said Sarah Crawford for
and during the term of
her natural life
I do hereby constitute and
appoint my wife Sarah
Crawford my Executrix and
my trusty friend and brother
Samuel Crawford my Executor
to this my last will and
Testament according to the
true intent and meaning
of the same and every part
and every clause thereof
In witness whareof I the said
John Crawford do hereun
to sect[?] my hand and

and testament in presents of
us who are his request and in
his presents and in the presents
of each other do subscribe our
names as witnesses thereto

I John Crawford of the County of Orange and
State of North Carolina being of sound mind
and memory do make and declare this my
last Will and testament in manner and
form following. That is to say

First That my Executors hereafter named
shall provide for my body a decent burial
pay all funeral Expense togather[sic] with my
just debts howsoever and to whomsoever
owing out of the money that shall first come
to their hands as a part of my estate

Item second I give and devise to my beloved wife Sarah
Crawford all and every part of my estate
both Real and Personal to have and to
hold to her the Said Sarah Crawford for and
during the term of her natural life

I do hereby constitute and appoint my wife
Sarah Crawford my Executrix and my trusty
friend and brother Samuel Crawford my
Executor to this my last Will and testament
