Item first I give & bequeath to my sister Charity Carrington her heirs & assigns forever one Hundred & fifty acres of land including the dwelling & out houses of the homeplace where we have resided for years the land to be so run off as to secure to the said Charity Carrington fire wood & Timber for necessary repairs & fencing. Item Second I also give and bequeath to the said Charity Carrington her heirs & assigns Two Thousand Dollars in money the remainder of my property after giving to the said Charity Carrington one mule & one Horse a wagon & Gear & the farming utensils now on the plantation with Two milk cows & a year provisions & support I desire to be equally divided among my other heirs according to the law of the land I appoint James Bacon of the County of Orange & State of North Carolina Executor to this my last will & testament Test.
