This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Jacqueline Tilley Wilkerson jwilkerson@visionet.org ==================================================================== Orange County, North Carolina Will, Book F, Page 190 & 191 Priscilla Carrington - April 25, 1843 In the name of God Amen I Priscilla Carrington of the County of Orange & the State of North Carolina being advanced in years & of sound ? mind & memory thanks be unto God for the same & knowing that all ? have once to die do publish this proper writing to be my last Will & Testament in manner & form following to wit, Firstly & Chiefly I will & bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it & my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in decent christian burial after the direction of my executors hereinafter named & as to what worldly substance it has pleased God to bless me with I will & bequeath in manner & form following to wit, my will & desire is that all my property of every name kind & description consisting of cattle hogs notes household & kitchen furniture ? be equally divided between my son Morgan Carrington my daughter Polly Parish wife of James Parrish & Dicy Daughter Dicy Cozart wife of William Cozart of Person County share & share alike to them & their heirs forever except that my will & desire is that my daughter Polly Parrish wife of James Parrish aforesaid shall have my glass cupboard & that my daughter Dicy Cozart wife of William Cozart aforesaid shall have my clock previous to the equal division of my property aforesaid Lastly I hereby constitute & appoint George W. Jones my executor to this my last will & testament hereby revoking all others by me heretofor to have made given under my hand & seal this 25 April 1843 Signed sealed published her & declared in the presence of Priscilla X Carrington (seal) mark William Bouling David Parrish George W.
