I Item I give and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth Debruler Three Hundred Dollars and one bay Mar[e] and further my will is that If my Sister Elizabeth Debruler should die leaveing no heirs of her own body the money if any shall Return back to the Debruler family. IIsc I give and bequeath to my sister Martha McCulloch one Hundred and fifty Dollars for her benifet if Required and if not she can Dispose of the money amonge her R[e]lations as she thinks best in her Discretion IIIrd I give and bequeath to my Brother Greenfield Debruler one Hundred and fifty Dollars in money to be paid by my Executor~~ IV and further my will is that my Executor sell my Lands and stocks and farming utensils Household and Kitchen furniture to the highes[t] bidder by vandue after the Above distribution be made and the money arise =ing from Said Sail[sic] shall be appropriated in man[n]er and form following {Vis} ["which" x-out] I give and bequeath to my four brothers Greenfield Debruler and Charles Debruler Westley Debruler Harbert Debruler Equally or their Heirs Representing them; I also do constitute appoint and ordain my Sister Martha McCulloch my lawful Executor[sic] of this my last will and Testament And I do hereby Revoke and disannul all former wills and Testaments Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament; In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal [page 2] This 29th day of August AD 1850 Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of us Witness Sanders Riley } Anna Debruler (seal) Farmer Smith } Proven by Both [Will Book Volume F, page 474] In the name of God Amen, I Any[sic] Debruler of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina being weak in body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be to God calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make & publish this my last Will & Testament touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I.
