I Prescilla Duncan of Orange County and State of North Carolina, being of sound and perfect mind and memory (blessed be God) do, this Sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One=thousand, Eight=hundred and Twenty= =nine, make and publish this my last Will and testa= =ment in the following manner, that is, to say, First, I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucy Duncan my a cupboard with its contents and my chairs over and above an equal share with my other children, to whom I will and bequeath all my other property, (or the value thereof after it is sold,) to be equally divided between them, with the exception of Elizabeth White,- To my daughter Elizabeth I will and bequeath one Dollar only - I will and bequeath my bed to my Son Charles N Duncan, which is to go at valuation in his part with the furniture thereof.- And I hereby make and ordain my worthy Friend James Forrest, executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said Priscilla Duncan have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal, the day and year above written her Prescella (+) Duncan (seal) mark Signed, sealed published and declared by the said Prescella Duncan testator as her last will and testam =ent, in the presence of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof Wm.
