Know all men by these presents that I James Wires of
the County of Chatham and State of North Carolina for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds
hard Money to him in hand paid at or before the
Sealing and delivering of these presents to George Foust
of the County of Orange and State aforesaid the receive
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold set
Over and delivered in plain and open market and by
these presents do bargain and sell unto the said George
Foust one Negroe Man named Bob to have and to hold
the said Negro Man Bob by these presents bargained & Sold
unto the said George Foust his Heirs and assigns forever
and I the said James Wires for myself & my Heirs and assigns
all and singular the said Negroe Man Bob unto the
said George Foust his Heirs and assigns against me the said
James Wires my Heirs and assigns and against all and
every other person or persons whatever shall and will
warrant and forever defend by these presents In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal
this 8 day November 1790
