I give and Devise Ann Montgomery Daughter of William Montgomery (Deceased) one Bed and Furniture, to her and her heirs Forever. (Item.) I give and devise Ann Grimes Parker Daughter of Wm Parker one bed and Furniture to her and her Heirs forever; (Item) I give and devise to Phoeby Wilson Wilkerson, Daughter of Robert Wilkerson One secretary to her and her heirs forever, Item I give and devise to William C Sutton the presbyterian Minister who Formerly preached at little River meeting house; Forty Dollars for the use and Benefit of the presbyterian missionary Society Item ["I give and devise" x-out] my will and desire is that all the Residure[sic] of my Estate (if any) after taking out the devises and Legacies above mentioned shall be sold, and the debts owing to me collected and if there should be any surplus over and above the payment of debts, Expenses, and Legacies that such surplus shall be Equally divided and paid over to my three Neighphews[Nephews] Hamilton Montgomery James Montgomery & Hugh Montgomery in Equal proportions share and share alike to them and their Heirs & assigns absolutely, forever. and I do hereby Constitute and appoint my Friend Henry Whitted my lawful Executor, to all intents and purposes, to Execute this my Last will and Testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same. [page 2] And Every part and clause thereof - herby[sic] revo king and declairing utterly void, all other wills and Testaments by me heretofore made, in witness whereof, I the said Ann Grimes do hereunto set my hand her and seal this 27th day of March A.D. 1846 Ann (X) Grimes mark Sighed[sic], sealed, published and declaired by the said Ann Grimes to be her Last will and Testament in presence of us who, at her request, in her presence and in the presence of Each other, do subscribe our Names, as witnesses thereto Interlined before sighned in the words One Secretary Robt.
