In the name of God amen
I Elizabeth Grimes of Orange County
in the state of North Carolina being
of sound mind & memory do make
publish & declare this to be my
last will & testament in
Manner and form as follows to wit

Item 1the[sic] I give & bequeath to my
nephew Hamelton Montgomery all my
land which is one Sixth part of
the Grimes track[sic] of land lying
on the Waters of Littel River it being
undevided containing one hundred and
fifty acres more or less all my personal
property Notes & [ink blot] Money after
paying all my Just de[b]ts I give all
the above named Item to my nephew
Hamilton Montgomery

Lastly I hereby Constitute and appointe
my nephew Hamilton Montgomery
Executor to this my last will and
Tes[t]ament where of I hereunto set
my hand & affix my seal this the
24 day of January A.D. 1857

all my land which is one sixth part of the Grimes Tract of land
lying on the Waters of Little River it being undivided Containing

Notes & money after paying all my just debts I give all the
above named Item to my Nephew Hamilton Montgomery

Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my Nephew Hamelton
Montgomery executor to this my last Will and Testament
whereof I hereunto set my hand & affix my Seal this the 24th
day of January AD 1857    }

The execution of the foregoing last Will & testament of
