I Garrett Garrison of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory, (blessed be God) do this the fifth of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and nineteen make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following this is to say - First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of five pounds. I also give and devise to my son Levi Garrison the sum of Seventy Dollars. Also I give and devise unto my som John Garrison One hundred and ninety acres of land whereon he now lives. I also give and bequeath to my daughter Rebecca the sum of five shillings - and also I give and bequeath to may daughter Eleanor Garrison one negro Girl named Elapah, one Mare, two Cows and Calves, six sheep, and ten head of Hogs, two Beds and Bed cloaths, one Chest and Table, one pewter Dish, and Six Chairs and six plates, and Seventy dollars in Cash; also I give and bequeath to my daughter Eleanor Garrison forty acres of Land where she chooses to take it of the tract whereon I now live and a House to be built for her Eighteen feet by twenty and ten acres of land cleared for her, and fence it - I also give and bequeath unto my son George Garrison all that tract of land of which I now live except what I have willed unto my daughter Eleanor, with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him and his heirs forever, I also give to my said son George my negro man Damon and all the moveable property that I have not already willed away. I also give and bequeath unto my son Jehu the sum of seventy dollars in Cash besides what I have willed him. - And I hereby make and ordain my two sons Levi and George Garrison Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Garrett Garrison have to this my last Will and Testament seting hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Garrett Garrison the testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof.
