Orange County, N.C. - WILLS - Hatwood, Thomas - 31 Jul 1815 ---------------------------------------------------- Contributed by Bobby J. Wadsworth bobbyjay@flash.net ---------------------------------------------------- TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES: One Thomas HATWOOD acquired land from North Carolina (on both sides of Collins Creek at the mouth of Lick Branch) in the 1790s. His neighbors included Mark STROUD and Patty LLOYD, a widow. Orange County marriage bonds show that one Jane (Jean?) HATWOOD married Richard LAMB, 30 Sep 1794; and Nancy HATWOOD married Robert GEE, 03 Aug 1793. It is supposed that this is the identical Robert GEE who appears on the tax rolls of Lincoln Co., KY, in 1797 and who died in Randolph Co., MO, in 1829.
