In the name of God Amen
I Aquilla Jones of the county of Orange and State of north
Carolina being a Low state of health but in sound
disposing mind and memory I make this my last
Will and Te[s]tament Revoking all other Wills --
hear to fore made and do declare this to be my Last
Will and Testament in manner as follows---------

1st it is my Will that all my Just debts shall be paid

2d I give and beque[a]th to my beloved Wife all the
Residue of my Estate During her nat[u]ral Live[sic] or
Wido[w]hood and then to be Equally devided between
my three suns[sic] and my Wife one sun that is to
say my sun John Aquilla and James and her sun
William Hargis I also give and bequeath to my ---
daughter Mary Jones one Cow it is my Will that
my famaley[sic] should all stay togather[sic] and Work and
pay for the Land and at Last Equelly[sic] devide
the same between the above mentioned Suns

I do Constitute and appoint my Beloved wife
Hephsibeth Jones and Reubin Smith my Lawfull
Executors to this my Last Will and Testament in
Testamony[sic] I have hear unto set my hand and seal
this 27th day of November 1803

and at last equally devide the Same between the above [mentioned] sons

I do constitute and appoint my beloved wife Hephsibeth
Jones and Reubin Smith my Lawful Executors to this my last
Will & Testament in Testemony[sic] I have hereunto Set my hand
& Seal this 27th day of November 1803

                    Orange County February Term 1804
The execution of the foregoing Last Will and Testament of
Aquilla Jones decd. was duly prov'd in open Court by the
Oath of John Butner one of the Subscribing Witnesses there
to and order[e]d to be recorded ~~ At the same time Reubin
Smith the Executor therein named qualified accordingly
