Jones of the county of Orange & State of North Carolina being Weak in body but of sound and disposing mind & memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existince[sic] do make and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament in manner & form following that is to say First That my executors hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relations & friends and pay all funeral expenses together with my Just debts howsoever and to whomsoever owing out of the monies that may first come into their hands as parcel of my estate Item. I Give and devise to my beloved mother Nancy Jones after the payment of my Just debts & other charges of settling my estate the tract of Land whereon I now live adjoining Elijah Couch & others with the appurtenances together with all my other property or effects of every description that may remain after payment of Debts & charges of settling my estate to her the said Nancy Jones her heirs and assigns forever, And Lastly I do hereby constitute & appoint my trusty friends Joseph Dunagan & Norman Dunagan my Lawful executors to all intents & purposes to execute this my last will & testament according to the true intent & meaning of the same and every part & clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testa- =ments by me heretofore made In witness whereof I the said William C. Jones do hereunto set my hand & seal This 20th day of May AD 1859. Signed, sealed, published & declared by the said William C. Jones, to be his last Wm. C. Jones deceased was duly proved in open Court by the oaths of John Tilly & S. M.
