do hereby give to my son John L F Kirk a negro Girl Anaka to him
and his heirs forever, as witness my hand [and] seal the date above written

The Execution of the foregoing Deed of Gift was duly proved in Open Court
by the oath of Sarah Kirk a subscribing Witness there & ordered to be recorded
