James Kirkland Will
Will written 25 July 1881

The Last Will and Testament of James Kirkland

Considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and 
memory, I do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and 
form following

First.  I give and bequeath to my sister Polly all my land during her lifetime 
after her death I bequeath all my land to my brother Joseph's children.

Ar 2nd	All my stock of horses or mules cattle hogs sheep etc(?) I bequeath to 
my sister Polly.

Ar 3d	All my parts of the household & kitchen furniture including two wagons 
farming tools etc(?) I bequeath to my sister Polly.  After her decease I 
bequeath all to my Brother Joseph's children.

Ar 4th 	All my growing crops of corn wheat oats cotton etc(?) At my decease I 
bequeath to my sister Polly.

Ar 5th	I will and bequeath to my Brother William Ten dollars

Ar 6th	I will and bequeath to my Brother Samuel ten dollars

Ar 7th 	I will and bequeath to my Brother John ten dollars

Ar 8th	I will and bequeath to my sister Betsy ten dollars

Ar 9th	All the residue I leave to my sister Polly

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 25th day of 
July in the year of our Lord 1881.
