In the Name of God Amen, I Thomas Lynch of the
State of North Carolina and County of Orange Make & Ordain
this my last Will and Testament in manner & form as followeth
Imprimis. I give three hundred acres of Land to my Brother
Jesse Lynch it being the balance of six hundred & forty acres
survey - the above three hundred acres adjoining the lands of Willm.
Paisley, James Forrest & others Imp. 2 [See Note 1] I give all the balance
of my land with the Appertainances thereof to my brother
Moses Lynch Also I give my negro Man Jim with my Stock
of all kinds with he balance of all my property ["of all kinds" x-out]

to my bro, Moses - That the 2nd Imprimus[sic] of this my last Will and Testament
may be property understood I wish my bro. Moses Lynch to inherit all my prop
=erty except the three hundred acres of land mentioned in Imp. 1 given to my
bro. Jesse I appoint my bro. Moses Lynch to executor this may last Will & Testament

The Execution of the foregoing last Will and Testament of Thomas Lynch
decd. was duly proved in open Court by the oath of Thomas Reeve a Sub
scribing Witness thereto and ordered to be recorded
