Paul Executor to this my last Will and Testament And set my hand & seal the above day and year above[sic] Written } } Thos. N Tate } State of North Carolina } Court of Pleas & Orange County } Quarter Sessions Aug Term 1845 The Execution of the last Will & Testament of Thomas McCrackin[sic] was duly proved by the oath of Samuel N. Tate the subscribing witness thereto & Ordered to be Recorded J. Additional Comments: Will Book Volume F, pages 264-265 Recorded Aug 1845 Testator's surname varies between McCracken and McCrackin Estate Papers comprise 36 pages and are found in a folder labeled "McCracken, Thomas (1845)". Includes allotment of dower. Testator died "in June or July 1845". No family history found.
