        In the name of God Amen I Christophel[sic] Mier of Ouring County
and province of North Carolina being thro the aboundant Marcy and goodness
of God to Weak in body yet of a Sound and perfect understanding & Memory
to constitute this my last Will and Testament as followeth I im
primis and give unto my dear and loving Wife One Two years old
Soral Mare Cold[colt] and her Beads and all my puter wire[ware] that I own
and Two Meleks [muley?] Cow and she is to have full Liberty and persation[possesion]
of the Dwelling Hous[e] war[where]  in I now Dwel and the improfmand belonging
to it totally oldest Son George Goms to Ege and then he is to have full
persation of said in pruf mand and if I should have two Sons I
order to be equely to be divided among tam and to liekwice the rest of
my astad after my Dets is paede is paid and if I should have one
thader[daughter] she is to have the thord except the im brufe Mand after the
Dats is paid and I order and apind my throsty[trusty] fr[i]end Adim Smith
and Jacob Grisson to constitut them Executors of this my last Will
and Testamand and Trustee for my Wife and Children , In Witnes
wherof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of
August in the year of our Lord 1775

                 The Execution of the within Will was duly proved
                 in open Court by the Oath of George Foglemen
                 one of the Subscribing Witnesses thereto, and Ordered
                 to be Recorded
                                   Test F. Nash C.C.

        In the name of God Amen I Christopher Mier of Orange County
and Province of North Carolina being through the abundant mercy and goodness
of God although weak in body yet of a sound and perfect understanding and memory
to constitute this my last will and testament as followeth Imprimis I
give unto my dear and loving Wife One Two years old
Sorrel Mare Colt and her Beds and all my pewter ware that I own
and muley Cows and she is to have full Liberty and possession
of the Dwelling House wherein I now dwell and the improvements belonging
to it until my oldest son George comes to age and then he is to have full
possession of said improvements and if I should have two Sons I
order to be equally divided among them and to likewise the rest of
my estate after my Debts are paid and if I should have one
daughter she is to have the third except the improvements after the
Debts is paid and I order and appoint my trusty friend Adam Smith
and Jacob Grisson to constitute them Executors of this my last Will
and Testament and Trustees for my Wife and Children. In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of
August in the year of our Lord 1775
