Nash C.C. [Converted to modern spellings, etc.] In the name of God Amen I Christopher Mier of Orange County and Province of North Carolina being through the abundant mercy and goodness of God although weak in body yet of a sound and perfect understanding and memory to constitute this my last will and testament as followeth Imprimis I give unto my dear and loving Wife One Two years old Sorrel Mare Colt and her Beds and all my pewter ware that I own and muley Cows and she is to have full Liberty and possession of the Dwelling House wherein I now dwell and the improvements belonging to it until my oldest son George comes to age and then he is to have full possession of said improvements and if I should have two Sons I order to be equally divided among them and to likewise the rest of my estate after my Debts are paid and if I should have one daughter she is to have the third except the improvements after the Debts is paid and I order and appoint my trusty friend Adam Smith and Jacob Grisson to constitute them Executors of this my last Will and Testament and Trustees for my Wife and Children.
