Know all men by these presents that I Graham Bell
for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy pounds
Virginia money to me in hand paid the receipt whereof
I do by these presents acknoledge have this day bargained
and sold to William Nash a certain Negro slave of a
yellow cplection named Horace, which slave sold as
aforesaid, I warrent and defend to the said Nash
aginst the claim of all persons whatever Given under
my hand and seal at Hillsborough North Carolina
20th April 1793
