         In the name of God Amen

I Mary Ray of he County of Orange & State of North -
Carolina being of sound & disposing mind & memory
doth make this my last will & testament

Arte  1   I give & bequeath to my sister Charlotte Ray two
          negroes Tempy and by Thomas

 "    2   I give & bequeath to my niece Cornelia Ball
          my Interest in negro boy James

 "    3   I give & bequeath to my sister Charlotte Ray my
          part of the plantation on which we now live
          also all of my stock of horses, cows, & hogs, also
          my crop now on hand also all of my household
          property of every Kind

          In testimony whereof I have set my hand
          and seal this 2nd day of Febry 1857

    The execution of the foregoing last Will & Testament
of Mary Ray deceased was duly proved in open Court
by R Blacknall one of the subscribing witnesses thereto
and ordered to be Recorded
