Roberts - 1883 Orange County, NC Will Book H Page 331, 333 I James H. Roberts of the County of Orange in the State of North Carolina, being in good health and sound mind do hereby make this my last will and testament. I hereby give to my daughters Mary E. Roberts, Louisa Roberts, and Margaret Roberts, this plantation on which I now live, adjoining the lands of Charity Carrington, Margaret Woods and others and containing two hundred and seventy seven and one fourth acres, also my household and Kitchen furniture, my horses, cows, hogs and sheep and every thing belonging to the plantation or in any ways purtaining to the same, to them Mary E. Roberts Louisa Roberts and Margaret Roberts and their heirs forever in fee simple. I hereby give to my daughter, Demarius Woods wife of William Woods the sum of thirty dollars to her and her heirs forever in fee simple. I hereby give to my three sons Thomas E. Roberts, James Roberts and Francis A. Roberts fifty five acres of land Known as the ? tract and adjoining the lands of Samuel P. Terry, Margaret Woods and Thos E. Roberts the said fifty five acres to be equally divided between Thos E. Roberts, James Roberts and Francis A. Roberts to them and their heirs forever in fee simple. I hereby appoint my daughters Mary E.
