Henry Merritt and that Annually untill it is all Expended with And in Case my Mother Should die before the moneys are Expend[ed] with then & in that Case I Give it & bequeath It ["Say" x-out] to Patsey Proctor And Nansy Saunders Shear & Shear alike and I do Hereby Constitute and Appoint Wm. Henry Merritt my Whole and Soul[sic] Executor or Trustee of this my Last Will and Testament this Twenty first Day of October 1814 Test John Sounders (seal) Wm. Merritt Jurat Thomas J. I John Saunders of the County of Orange being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner & form following, that is to say Item I give and bequeath unto my loving mother Lydia Saunders all that I do possess, in this manner following the monies that is due to me to be paid to her as her necessities shall require (that is to say) twenty five or thirty dollars per Year to be paid to her by my Trustee Wm. Henry Merritt, and that annually until, it is all expended with and in case my Mother Should die before the moneys are expended with, then and in that case I give it and bequeath it to Patsey Proctor and Nancy Saunders share & share alike, and I do hereby constitute and appoint Wm.
